Before We Arrive

Please make sure personal items and anything you don’t want visible have been put away before the team arrives.


During the Shoot

Our team may adjust blinds, lighting and small items throughout the property to help the home present at its best.


If You’re Home

You may be asked to step out of certain rooms while we capture photos and video.


After The Shoot

Your agent will receive the completed content shortly after the shoot is finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If weather conditions aren’t suitable for the planned shoot, your agent and the Spotlight team will work together to decide whether the shoot should proceed or be rescheduled.

  • Most property shoots take between 1–2 hours depending on the size of the home and the amount of content being captured.

  • Not necessarily, however you may be asked to step out of certain rooms while photos or videos are being captured. Many homeowners choose to head out for a coffee while we work.

  • Drone content is dependent on the marketing package selected by your agent as well as weather and flight conditions on the day.

  • We recommend clearing away personal items, excess clutter, cables, toiletries and anything you wouldn’t like visible online. Garages, laundries and toilets are often the best places to temporarily store extra items.

  • Sometimes. Our team may make small adjustments to furniture, blinds or decor to help the property present at its best on camera. We’ll always do our best to return everything to how we found it.

  • Yes. Our team is trained to properly secure the property before leaving and your agent will receive confirmation once the shoot is complete.

  • Photography is typically delivered to your agent within 1 business day, with video content usually delivered within 3 business days.
